I tried to check the joystick functions and it doesn't seem to work.

I ran the joystick examples and nothing detected / working.

I am using a Saitek X52

hmmm.. I use a 360 controller and it works fine for me. Try the attached.

tried it, no different - I was doing the same sort of thing.

Maybe this joystick only works through directX?
