Hi, I haven't used AGK2 in a while, and just tried to re-export my current app in progress.

"The entitlements specified in your application’s Code Signing Entitlements file do not match those specified in your provisioning profile. (0xE8008016)."

Does anyone know how to get around this? The mobileprovision file is current and up-to-date and valid.

Thanks

Can you post a screenshot of the error? I recall a while back getting a provisioning profile related error on OSX when trying to export an iOS app from AppGameKit, however I am not sure if this is the same one. If it is, I think the solution was simply to restart AppGameKit and it would work.

I made a mistake. The error comes up when I try to manually install the app onto my iPhone with XCode's Devices. I click the + button and select the .app file that I exported. Here's a screenie of the error:

Please, if anyone could tell me how to get around this? I can't test my app on my iPhone 6.

Have you registered your device correctly on the developer portal?

Yes, I have done that, and I'm able to launch other programs I've created through XCode that aren't AGK. For testing I tried a Unity app and it worked just fine.

Anyone?

This is a major hindrance to using AppGameKit if I can't even export to an iOS device.

Why is there no official support response to this thread and some others? I've also posted this question on the Steam discussion board and waiting. I have re-generated mobile provision files numerous times, and I'm able to use Xamarin and Unity to export apps that work on my phone just fine.

However, when I use XCode's Devices window to manually add the exported app (after extracting it into the Payload folder), I get the same entitlements error from my original post.

If I go through iTunes directly and try to install the IPA file, it NEVER finishes the "Installing..." step. I see the icon on my phone yet it's grayed out and just says "Installing...". That seems to never end.

Anyone? Anyone?

The only thing I can think of is that you are using a development profile whilst AppGameKit only supports AdHoc profiles, but a check was added in 2.0.14 that would detect this and warn you during export, so I'm not sure what's happening. Have you tried creating a new AppID and generating a new AdHoc profile?

@Paul Johnston - Yes this was my problem exactly. Phew! Who would have thought that we can't use a dev profile? It's probably in the docs somewhere and I overlooked it. Once I used an AdHoc profile it worked. Thank you so much

Because it was easier, and the only difference is that Development profiles allow debugging through XCode, but since the app isn't being run through XCode that isn't necessary.
