Hi there. I am trying to use use Tier 2 with Visual Studio 2015. I linked to the required library files, but now I am getting an error on compile.

1>------ Build started: Project: Test Game, Configuration: Debug Win32 ------
1>LINK : fatal error LNK1181: cannot open input file 'AGKWindows.lib'
========== Build: 0 succeeded, 1 failed, 0 up-to-date, 0 skipped ==========

I've search over the forums and online, but have found no solution. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I installed 2013 community and SDK 7.1, the install guide doesn't mention 2015.

I know this is old but I felt bad nobody answered you. I hope you got this straightened out and did not give up on AppGameKit just for that.

AGK 2 does not support VS 2015 (based on what is available after installing it).

It works fine with VS 2013.

Hello, sorry for jumping in on an old thread, I just wanted to let you know that I can clarify it does work in VS 2015.

Here is the method I just used to create a project in VS 2015 today, and all is working fine!

The method I followed was to browse to the AGK2-CPP ( or your equivalent ) install directory, from there navigate into the apps folder, then right click the folder named 'template_windows_vs2015', click copy, then click paste anywhere in the apps folder, this will create a copy, then you can rename the copy to anything you wish. ( e.g - 'testgame_windows_vs2015' ), then from there you can just navigate inside your newly created folder, and open your .sln file by either double clicking it, right clicking it and choosing open with../Microsoft Visual Studio Version Selector, or finally just dragging the .sln into an already open instance of VS 2015.

Hope this helps!

Cheers
