Anybody happen to have a Motion Blur shader that works with sprites? Never really tried to do shaders myself so I'm not sure where to start.

This would need to be a post process effect rather than a sprite shader but you could fake it by having a number of clones following your sprite around with various levels of transparency.

I don't have a motion blur shader but someone else here might.

You can also fake it by having a semi-transparent background and EnableClearColor(0). The more transparent, the more blur you get. Like this...

I wanted a few sprites to be blurred when they go SWOOSH! But I'm thinking that perhaps it's just easier to do that using a filter in a popular drawing package.

In that scenario I would go with baxslash' suggestion...
