Ping Bong is a simple arcade game where you play the computer in a match of Paddle Ball. You control your paddle by pressing the left and right side of your phones screen too move up and down. The match is played until either you or the computer reaches a score of 9. You may score by getting your ball past the computers paddle.




Things to improve:
FPS sometimes drops (Trying to figure out why)
Computer Paddle Movement needs to be smoothed out.


Features that may come in the near future:
2 player mode

Instructions.
Tap the Left and Right side of your screen to move the Paddle Up and Down.
There are no Buttons, the screen is divided in two. You may click anywhere on the left half, and anywhere on the right half.

To score you must get your ball past the Computers Paddle.
Tap the screen to start the ball after either you or the computer has scored.

Ping Bong is nothing fancy, I tried to keep the retro feel as close as possible.

That was fun.
At first the computer was skunking me, but then I made a comeback and managed to win my first match.
I forgot to rate it, and I already shut the phone down, so I will rate it tomorrow.
This really should be a 2 (or more) player game, but it was fun playing the computer.

Google Play search for "ping bong" got a message... "did you mean ping pong?"
lol

SWEEET! The controls feel weird at first but once you get the hang of it things start to get easier.

Yes im also having trouble searching it also I don't know if it is because there are so many Pong apps out there or what....

You were still on the list and not that far down, just scroll down and you'll see it.
I am surprised how many spoofs are on Google Play Store.

Do your searches show Pong as public domain? (some of mine do)
It seems they were wrong, as Pong =
You chose your name well.
The game is just "Tennis for Two" with a top-down view, so the name "Pong" is all they can have a claim on.

There are so many its ridiculous, I cant blame them either...Its easy to make

I have no idea where to start with Copy Right Violations with these old games. I don't know what is acceptable and what is not. I better look into it.

Edit: Just posted an UPDATE...Should be live in an hour or so....The game now has sounds

Thanks Paul! It needs some updates but it was close enough to toss out there for now.

I will have to go back and touch up some stuff like Computer Paddle Movement smoothed out and larger Scores Text with color...etc...

Hi Crazy P. Just downloaded and played your Ping game. ooh very addictive but also frustrating. keep missing that darn ball.

Your app took some finding if not using the link in your 1st post. I think that is because the name given to it when you exported to android in the editor is slightly different to the game name you have used in the app store. the url and app store consequently differ a little.
Also when you initially enter in to uploading the apk etc, you get an option to list up to 100 keywords to help others find your app. Unfortunately it would appear that many abuse this option and list anything and everything so when you do a search in the app store you often find listed unrelated apps. However I would suggest that you always enter Crazy Programmer with and without Productions so that you can be found by co. title.

I like your game, maybe some improved graphic resolution needed in some of your graphics, but very playable. It reminds me of the very first console I built for myself in mid 1970's. I bought a "chip" a couple of joysticks plus quite a few other components and attached it to my tv. At the time it was out of this world but even today yours is still good. Thank you for this memory bump.
