Thanks everyone!
Honestly the hardest thing was getting the game through greenlight. In the end, it did not make it to the top 100, but instead I think someone at valve "reached out" and got it through. Greenlight really is a mystery sometimes. But this was not my first attempt at GL either... Approaching Infinity was on it for >1 year, and only made it to 86% . I have studied A LOT.
You really have to have a focused approach, a solid product, something people can get excited about. There is a lot of "junk" out there, and people are getting tired of it. Driving traffic to your site is #1. And also hard. TWITTER IS THE BEST. you should be there if you're not. But there are also tons of gaming sites, youtubers, etc.
As for the legal and technical issues, about 90% of that stuff was fear and procrastination on my part. When I actually set out to do it , it didn't take long. I did spend a day or two screaming at the screen, but after watching the videos they provide, I eventually got it working. And now, it's really easy to do updates, etc.
Sales are going pretty well, it's exciting sometimes
I feel like I should get some kind of forum badge for this, since they have them for the various mobile markets...
