Hi all, I have just done a new website due to my old one looking very cluttered and also being just to do with educational software.
Since I will also be coding general and retro games as well as educational ones I thought I needed a more simple style and professional looking site instead of the mish mash before.

Could you give me your opinion and if you think the new one is better, before I decide to go the whole hog and pay for a .com web address for it.

Cheers.

It looks great! The old one looked neat at first glance too, but the new one looks even better by quite a bit.

As for getting a .com domain, I bet Google Domains would be of interest to you. A .com domain for 12 dollars a year! That comes with an address@yourdomain.com email thing too at no additional charge. They are working with big website builders (such as Wix) too, so you should find it very easy to get that domain on your Wix site.

Of course, you will also have to pay the fee that Wix charges for hosting... It isn't bad though, and I have found that they tend to give great promotions on holidays and such.

Good luck and good work!

I like the newer one better.

The new site doesn't seem to display anything for me in firefox, it's just white. It looks good on opera though

I don't like the loading animations on the icons, they're tacky.

Not quite sure what you mean. On the menu when they change colour or the page transition wipes when it goes from one page to another?

If you empty your cache and do a hard reload, in the time it's loading some of the images(including icons) on the page have a little rotating loading symbol.

Edit: Reworded so it actually made sense.
