Apple TV is about to be released and i need to be ready... iOS 9.1 is out, Xcode 7.1 is out and all need to be updated.
I have a big business to carry on so i can't wait TGC updates, they have a small team and they do what they can, maybe they also have some other things to do,
but i'm faster and i need to change.
And i changed...

I discovered SFML engine and i'm very happy.
It has about the same flow of AppGameKit, so i just needed to update my GekkoManager.cpp and it was ready to start.
I also got SFML work on tvOS so now i'm really ok.
With LIB files splitted is all another thing!! You add what you want, so for me that i don't need 3D is the right thing.

Now i'm working to pass all my iOS apps on the tv before the last week of October come.
I need to do 80 apps in 7 days, ahahah is crazy, but i'm the "FASTER", and i could do it.

I want to say thanks to all the users that survived in those years to this "english tea time" speed of coding,
it was a great adventure together, even if i was the "only" one on Apple devices with Tier 2.

This is why i didn't helped anymore on the forum, just because it is useless.

I just downloaded the SFML open source code and it is great, i can modify it as i want, and it is good coded.
On the SFML forum there are all the old AppGameKit users, and is really great to find again some old friends.
There are 10000+ users and they are really active, so you never feel alone there.

Well, what to say...
Goodbye to all and i hope we will see again, maybe elsewhere.
Gekko.

I can only see one post on there today, but I guess it's still quite early.

Sad to hear, but understandable. It is unfortunate that nobody from TGC bothered to comment in your thread about "AGK Pro Version NEEDED" in which many very detailed and valid arguments were made. I know in the past you explored many different engines only to keep returning to AGK. Yet, when it takes months or even years for a particular feature to be added it is not a strong candidate for cutting edge development and the third party SDKs always slouch behind. I have had good success with AppGameKit apps as well but have turned to other platforms for my major apps due to sparse TGC communication and updates. Good luck!

Good luck Gekko and I understand as at the end of the day you have to look at your business.

Come back and let us know how you are getting on with your template and SFML as I hadn't herd of that before you mentioned it.
Will go and have a look as I am always interested in new projects.

Currently converting my Platypus game to Unity 5 at the minute which is going quite well. C# is easier than I thought
The Amiga and Amos were great!

It's a pity because you was a power user with so much apps.

Thanks boys, but i already solved with another engine.
I told i became very fast, and i already ported my manager to the new engine.
Sorry, AppGameKit without splitting LIBs and becoming a pure Graphic Engine couldn't go on.

This is my opinion.

Looking at these apps, I bet a lot of them are just rebranded apps. So muhch for creating so many apps, hehe.

I saw lots and lots of re-skinned fruit machine type games, a dodgy TV app, a rip-off of what's app, and a rip-off of IK+. BUT he's making good money out of it, so best of luck to him. Glad it can't bring a bad name to AppGameKit any more

I don't think he ever mentioned "made with agk" in his apps, so how can he bring a bad name to agk?

Yes it was. I'm only jealous . I've had a bad day. Sincerely, I wish you all the best Gekko, and thank you for your contributions over the years. Sorry to see you go. Maybe we'll see Gekko return when AppGameKit Tier 1 can do everything required in a nice friendly basic script.
