Geek Culture / DB and PHP books in London + recommendation

My sister is going to London for a few days
and I need to know is there a shop that sales DB book?
and if so where is it located?

And I'm also searching for a good PHP book for beginers
(Beginer in PHP and not in the entir web programming I know HTML already).
So I need to know the name, the price and where can I buy it.
of course I prefer books that you guys had experience with and not just any book.
I also need that the book will be write in the most simple way because I am not so good with english
as you can see
So do you guys have suggestion?

I live in London and found best bookshops for programming languages are:

Foyles : Charing Cross Road (Near Tottenham Court Road Tube station)

Borders : Oxford Street (Near Oxford Circus Tube station)

I have never seen a DarkBASIC book in these shops but plenty of PHP ones.

I have a Borders that sells the db book not 15 minutes away

you can get books on PHP from any big UK book shop. i`v never seen a book on DB in Borders but i`v never looked in the London shops. but thay can Order it and post it to you in Israel it cost a bit more but thay do ship world wide.

Barnes and Noble in San Francisco is what you want never seen so many game programming books!

Maybe it's the close proximity to Silicon Valley?

Baaaaa I now found out that my sister is going to london to travle
or something and she will not be in hotel so amazon is out (too bad it was a good idea).
Well if worse comes to worse I will buy this two books from amazon.com and order it to Israel.

Now I just ed to decide which PHP book I want.
