The last time I worked in 3D was in DBPro (apart from a simple FPSC-AGK room), so there's a lot of people here with a lot more experience than I have in AGK.

What advice can anyone give to put some pre-made models (including landscape) into AGK. I'd like some basic but reasonable lighting, or a lightmapped scene. The "space" I want to create will be stadium sized.
I don't know if lightmapping is something I need to create, or if I need shaders to make them work.

Just looking for the steps and building blocks of a 3D world!

Hi BatVink,

For lighting, everything that is dynamic, you will need shaders.
But you can load a Lightmap image and add it as a second layer to the object with SetObjectLightMap.
Look in the 3D-FirstPersonExample for it... but at the end, even that will use a shader.

Hi BatVink,

I used the code from this post for terrain in my physics demos.

The coffee is lovely dark and deep, and I have code to write before I sleep.
