Newcomers AppGameKit Corner / Will SetSpritePhysicsOff also turn off calculation of new collision shape?

If I turn of physics for a sprite, will this also turn of calculation of new collision shape for sprite when I resize it? I need 1 sprite to change size multiple times during a frame and then be drawn each time, so I don't want to calculate collision shape each time as I don't need collision for this sprite.
The byte chrunchers are coming...

For those interested, adding the last parameter to this command turns off updating collision shape: SetSpriteImage ( iSpriteIndex, iImageIndex, bUpdateShape )
