You'll need to be careful, you might be comprising the license. You definitely can't make an app that generates code and compiles it.

Ok. i definitely don't want to do that. How about the plugin? Is there any documentation about making a plugin for the IDE?

idk.. the editors open source modded/rebuilt for agk, read eula/terms for agk too, check out installed plugins under Tools/Plugin Manager and search engine how, .......

or use tier 2 with IDE of your choice and use/make editor plugins for your C++ IDE

read terms for plugin made by someone else.

Yes i checked plugins under Tools/Plugin Manager but i'm looking for documentation on how to create a plugin
What do you mean by "and search engine how"?
I guess i miss understand the intention of a plugin. I though it was so a 3rd party could add functionality to the IDE

i have tried without much success to add a plugin. i have a couple questions;
1. Is the Gearny plugin feature still operational?
2. If so what is the TGC position on this? Do you not want people writing plugins
3. If it's ok to write a plugin would you have some sample code & build instructions for a demo plugin?

As far as I know it isn't possible to write plugins for tier 1. If it were they would exist. I think it may be in the plans for the distant future.

Look at this Topic, Markus has mentioned how to call the Compiler from other Tools there:

https://forum.thegamecreators.com/thread/210971

And yes, it should be possible to create plugins for the IDE. I would look at the website of Geany as I am sure you will get more informations about how to create plugins for the IDE there.
