Does anybody fancy a weekend Game Jam to show off the new AppGameKit features? It would have to be a game built from scratch over one weekend (you can use your own existing functions). All media, music, sound effects etc. to be created or sourced from free sites (zero cost and royalty free, CC0, public domain etc.).

Just posing the idea. If enough people are interested, let's make it a thing!

Thanks! I didn't even know about this event.

I have signed up for this now too. I will be attending the event in Brighton (UK) at The Skiff. 40+ registered for that site so far, so should be good fun. I'll be checking in here over that weekend and will be posting up some of my progress. Please join in that weekend too if you get a chance . The idea is to create a game from start to finish from 5pm on Friday the 29th of Jan through to 5pm the following Sunday following a specific theme to be announced at the start of the event.

I have arrived at the venue for the first evening of the Global Game Jam! I'm surrounded by real game programmers. Feeling a little out of depth. Lol.
