Here is the deal, I am making a game in AppGameKit tier 1. I want to use iSpeech API (https://www.ispeech.org/developers), to incorporate voice recognition. I believe this is possible, but I have no idea how. As I mentioned I am willing to pay for a functional example of this. If your interested hit me up and we can hash out the details.

I think you need Tier 2 for that.

The trick is you must use the web api or you do it in Tier2.
I tried it for you and got an api information response
then i tried to get a file from the Web api to save and play it
but i had no api credits anymore...

So I believe it is possible but you must pay for the credits if you want to use Tier1.

If you need more information just ask ; )

[Edit]
Text to speech will work.
but speech recognition will be harder.
You cant read from the mic directly so you have to wait till the recorded file is saved.
You can make a stop record button and then transfer the file in the right format to the site and such a hassle.

Thanks all for the info. Anybody willing to try this in Tier 2? As stated I am willing to pay for a functional example.

better than a paid web service is a opensource Speech Recognition lib in c++.
in tier1 basic. i believe there are no working commands for a microphone, the online docu said "Not yet functional. "

Okay I am currently setting up for Tier 2. I found Voce, which is an open source Speech Recognition lib in C++. Anyone tried this before?
