Hi I am trying to develop on an old Vista machine as my computer broke down yesterday, but I am having troubles with DEP. My programs will not run because of it. I cannot disable it for my apps, Windows wont let me do that. I tried my own apps and those that come with AGK2. I am using Tier 1. Is there no way to run my apps on Windows Vista? I tried disabling XD in bios but that only makes DEP revert to software based DEP instead of hardware based.

Maybe worth just disabling it altogether and avoiding using the internet on that PC.

I borrowed my girlfriends Windows 7 laptop, installed AGK2 and DX9, now my app just crashes and Windows 7 does not tell me why :-( It is the same with my own software and the examples.

EDIT: Status: somewhat working.

I uninstalled V2.0.17, installed V2.0.16, then when running app it crashed with lots of missing opengl files. Installed driver from Intel for Express 45 chipset, now an example would run fine. Uninstalled V2.0.16, installed V2.0.17, the same app crashes with: Uncaught exception - Choose format failed. Going back to V2.0.16 for now.
