If you use your own shader and then disable it using: SetObjectShader(object,0) to activate the default shaders, you get the following error message on mac:

Pixel shader failed to compile: ERROR: 0:17: '*' does not operate on 'vec4' and 'int'

On android it crash.

Try calling SetObjectImage(objID, 0, 1). I think this is a dup of https://forum.thegamecreators.com/thread/216587

Tried: SetObjectImage(objID, 0, 1) And it worked , so yes same problem , Thanks
