Hi guys, been a while since I started any threads but I had a thought about some of my old unfinished (UF) games. I thought I'd give them away for free for anyone in the community to finish and sell with absolutely no rights or financial comeback required at all.

Why? Because I'll most likely never finish them (despite some of them being pretty good).

Enjoy and hopefully get rich!

NOTE: Do NOT use any of the sound effects / music / gfx without at least checking with me first as these are copyright protected and require purchasing from TGC and/or other vendors if you want to use them.

"most likely" , i think you will at some point get the time required to finish these games, so i will not use them. You are a very very great coder and so organised so im sure you get back to making games

I tried this one and it got so many cool and awesome effects , you must finish this one , it will be a great hit.

How many (UF) games do you have ?

I have downloaded your UF games, there are so mush to learn from them but you should:

This is amazingly insane! You are so close to being able to wrap this up, I cant imagine why you would give this away

Yes.
I'd love to take a look at your level designer if that is 'up for grabs'

I'd love a peek too, but I fear I'd not have enough free time to do it justice. Please don't say this is your parting gift Bax! We NEED you on the boards!

@baxslash Nice coding style. It's clean, and your variable names make sense; everything is lined up neatly too. The encapsulation is nice, and stuff happens where it makes sense. I've come across sooooo much code that hurts my eyes to read, so this was refreshing.

That's nice to hear, thanks. I literally didn't touch it before I posted it and didn't even consider how easy it would be to understand so I'm happy. I'll load up the full level editor code soon as UF #003... then you can judge my C# too

@baxslash Now you make me feel like a professor, or senior programmer, giving a code review haha to a noob. It can be difficult to encapsulate with procedural (to me anyway) since there is a need for a decent amount of copy pasta which leads to spaghetti code so bad that it has a high potential for summoning the FSM when you hit F5.

I think it's awesome that you dropped this code off for us to use since I was in the process of doing the lighting effects for my game. I may or may not be massaging your implementation into my project.
