I'm growing restless here in the real world.

I remember one time when I was in 7th grade, I was a depressed little boy. I didn't think there was anything in the world that could make me happy. Then one day, I randomly bought a game: Final Fantasy 7. At first it was OK, but as I played, the game became an escape...from the reality that I grew so tired of handling. Even if I could just sneak in a moment's worth of play time here or there, I loved it. It captivated me somehow. (I suppose that's why it's my favorite game of all time)

Then when I first heard of DarkBASIC (not pro), I downloaded the demo and it game with a code snippet called "Room". Just playing as that little arachnid was great. I always thought, "Imagine what you could do with this thing." Eventually, I changed the textures and added the song "Winterbreeze" by Labworks - and that song just set the mood. I was all ready to make the game and everything...if only I'd known DarkBASIC at the time, heh.

Anyway, I'm bored with life again, and I need a really, really, REALLY good game to play, something amazing. And it doesn't have to be commercial necessarily, it can even be indi. I don't care. Anyone have any suggestions...

Pah, Xenosaga can't hold a candle to Xenogears (PS1), 40 hours longer, much better plot, way better combat. I also sudjest Chrono Trigger (SNES [good luck] or PS1) and Front Mission 3 (PS1). Front Mission 3 has two complete and seperate stroylines that add up to around 150 hours of game play, that epic enough for you?

My friend beat it in a few days (I would too but I need more RAM to play it), of course that was on the easy setting. On hard you save every time you kill someone.

Grandia PS1 80hrs gameplay, but i took almost 160hrs on it; infact just to get onto the second CD is close to 35hrs gameplay, and the world is huge.
Grandia Xtreme PS2 is also just as huge, none of the Grandia stories relate - but they're bloody good.

the new one you can have upto 8 people in your team, so you end up with MAMMOTH fights on your hands it's just truely awesome.

Square Enix are releasing alot of corkers this year comming.
