I have just started trying to work with 3D and the basics are proving to be not very basic at all.
It seems that AppGameKit is very picky about the way the objects are exported but once you have a working object, it only works on directly loaded objects. Cloning or instancing them fails.

I searched the forum for a possible cause and came across this thread which suggests that it was fixed for 2.0.17 but in the same thread the error couldn't be replicated - very confusing!

I can't upload the model I'm using because it's commercial but Paul, if you would like a copy to see the error then I'm sure the copyright holder wouldn't object to me emailing it to you since a fix could potentially increase his sales.

Thanks for sending me the file. It works with both CloneObject and InstanceObject here, what version are you using, and what is the error that you get?

Hi Paul,
Thanks for checking but it doesn't work for me. I'm using 2.0.18.
Are you loading with children is the thread says because this works as expected:

But loading with children does not:

There's no error message, they simply refuse to display.

You beat me to it by moments!
I can confirm that. I've just installed 2.0.19 and everything works as expected

Thanks
