There is another post dating back to March that addresses my issue, but the reply button doesnt work, so im making a new post. When debugging, "receiving app" never goes past 0%. Normal build and run works fine. No breakpoints set. I tried pasting all the code into new files, but no luck.

is your agk player up to date?
i guess u are using android and you had set a device ip adress for debug in editor options.
current player you can find here
\Steam\steamapps\common\App Game Kit 2\Players\Android

debugger need network enabled if you will run player at pc.

else at android maybe clean temp data from player, or drag out of running task to close the player.
try disable/enable network at phone.

I think the problem is solved.
I went into the Library>Application Support>AGK Player folder and deleted some files related to my project. Seems to be OK now.
