Hello

Does anyone knows what the encoding of strings in AppGameKit 2 is? UTF-8? ASCII? Extended ASCII?
I cannot find this in the docs.

Thank you

From the development blog of AGK2: * Set the default file encoding for new files to Windows-1252 to support extended ASCII

Find it here: https://forum.thegamecreators.com/thread/210287

AGK compiler is able to read UTF-8 encoded sources, readLine() and writeLine() are Unicode compatible too, but len(), mid(), left(), right(), asc() functions are used to work with ASCII only.
feel free to use this code to handle UTF-8 strings.

Unicode yours
