Written in a few hours this is perhaps the least developed Banshee game ever and is the result of a sleepless night.  The concept is simple: It's a breakout remake with a slight twist.  There is no bat.

Instead you play a space ship and you must shoot the ball into the blocks.  To compound matters the shots bounce off the ball and blocks with trigonometric reverb, causing mayhem where ever possible.

File updated. The ball is now bigger, faster and more controllable. I also increased the performance of the game for better framerates and changed the brick pop explosion.

Andy - I am amazed at how you could take a classic game and put a twist on it that, perhaps, made it *better* and *more* addictive than the original! Even my girlfriend loves this game!

On a side note, I've noticed that you have created both 2D and 3D games. Which environment do you prefer to work in? I've been working in 3D myself, but I am not a good texture artist or 3D modeller, so I will try some 2D work soon.

Also, the music in this game is great! As someone who composes video game music, I must say that the music in this game is neither annoying or too intrusive. Good work and very inspirational!

"Which environment do you prefer to work in?"
I'm happy in either 2D or 3D mediums, I focus more on gameplay and whilst I am not always sucessful the 2D/3D equation is not really part of the question of whether a game plays well.

A lot of people work in 3D but in two dimensions.

I'm downloading it now.

I got higher again, but I dont think it saved my score. I found a bug, if you play it (I did up to lvl 11) and then press any key to play it again it goes "Sprite not found".
