I just registered for a Nintendo Developer account to see whether we can publish HTML5 to the Wii-u and 3DS platforms. Has anyone tried this yet?

The Wii-U doesn't run WebGL so I would be surprised if it works.

Since we have 2 threads now. This is my reply from the other thread. Can we have that one locked or removed?

While I can't comment on this here's some interesting stuff:

While not yet 100% confirmed. The Nintendo NX (next console) is a handheld device powered by the Nvidia Tegra platform. Capable of running Android apps. It has a 720p touchscreen and the sides can be detached into 2 separate controllers for 2 player games.

That sounds wonderful, so lets hope it's true.
If it can run Android Apps, then we can develop for it with AGK.
The 2 controllers should be considered as joysticks, so all is good.
I need to get to work on a 2 player game just for Nintendo NX!

It looks as if the NX will be using cartridges, so that will be a hurdle for indies.
We will know more around Sept 15th (Tokyo Game Show).

Good catch guys!

But I cannot see why it wouldn't also allow digitally downloaded games. For example the Pokemon app. And classic NES titles. It probably comes with a few (16-32) GB of internal storage like any Andriod device, maybe with a micro SD slot. Or maybe no slot or USB port, just so they can prevent people sideloading stuff.
