In previous versions of AppGameKit i was able to broadcast to my iPhone 6+ with no problem. Now it only gets to the receiving stage at 0% and never advances beyond. IP address is correctly entered into the Build preferences. Anyone else experience that?

Are you sure the player is updated on the iPhone, there will probably be a delay waiting for Apple to accept it!
The Amiga and Amos were great!

It might be a firewall issue. You'll need to allow the new version of AGK.

I am using the latest IDE. Don't know what to do. What could be the cause?

In that case, have you checked your device IP addresses and router settings to ensure they are all on the same sub-net?

I believe so. I checked by looking at the network connection settings on my iPhone and Mac. Is there someplace else I should look?
I've tried to broadcast both at my office and at home, and get the same failure in both places.

Does it happen with all projects or just a particular one? Can you double check the Help->About menu option that the IDE is version 2.0.21?

It is 2.0.21. It only seems to be an issue with my latest project (a fairly large program).

That's good, it means I might be able to track down the problem. Could you send me the project and I will see if I can reproduce the bug?

Best way is to email it to me at paul@thegamecreators.com, or if it is too large then upload it to Google Drive or DropBox and send me the link

Was this solved at all? I've just started having the same issue as of this morning. It was working fine last night...

No code changes. No firewalls enabled. Windows 10 machine. Tried multiple devices and it won't work now

Edit: It's all projects. I've even specified the device IP in the editor settings. Still no dice. Tried rebooting both the PC and the devices. Also tried clearing the data and cache and also reinstalling the player app on device.

Never mind! Turns out my network router was on the way out... Time to get a new one! For some reason, internet and other LAN based activities worked fine, but this didn't want to connect for some reason. Sorted now!

Paul, this issue was never resolved. I believe I've sent you my code. Do you have any suggestions?

Sorry for not replying, as I mentioned in the email I was not able to replicate the problem, so this could be difficult to track down. The first thing might be to narrow down whether it is limited to the Mac or the device, or the network. Do you have access to a Windows machine you can use to broadcast, and perhaps another device to broadcast to? Could you setup a separate Wifi network with perhaps with the Mac as the access point (I don't know if this is possible but it would rule out the router as the source of the problem).

I find that Broadcasting works with my iPhone 4S, but not for my iPhone 6+.

I know it sounds really obvious, but have you tried restarting the iPhone 6+? Does the device have enough storage space to hold the app? I can't think of much else that could cause one iOS device to work but not the other.

I had tried restarting before, but I'll be darned, it worked this time! Thanks very much for helping to finally resolve this problem!
