Hi All,

My app worked fine with transparency Alpha png images.

Now I started it (after a few months and re-exported it to HTML5) and these images are totally black where the transparency had to be.

Is happens is chrome, firefox and edge. So this looks like the promblem is not from the browsers.

When I run it trough the app or desktop, the transparency of the png look transparence so that is good.

Any body know what this means? Do I have to change the png files or enter some extra code after the updates??

Thank you.

Update:
What I did was changing the name of the html file.

When ik leave the html filename for what is was, then the transparency is good.

So I don't change the name of the html file.

Hi Jo. I am having the same issue. Was wondering how you get the game to run without renaming the file as index.html though.

Use something like GIMP (freely to download and use)

- create a new picture with a transparency background (will look like a chequered board

- draw your picture

- Export to PNG

-- If using existing PNGs

- Load the picture in GIMP

- Can you see the transparency parts of where you want them - again (see chequered areas for transparency)

Yes - then I'm unsure

No - then need to re-do your images with the transparency areas.

Just tested an app to HTML5 - and it looks horrifically rubbish with the the Alpha channel.

BUG maybe or simply just doesn't support it

HTML language is not really bright with effects anyway

WebKit inside coding is the best that internet pages can offer - so maybe just is not supportive - its not intelligent to introduce transparency.

Maybe wrong

There's a bug in the latest version. You need to SetSpriteTransparency() as a workaround for now.

This bug has been there for a few months now as it was also reported on the previous version. Hopefully a new version will be released soon.
