Somebody on the Steam forums asked if this screen splitting was possible in AppGameKit (fast forward to about 1 minute)

So...here is the solution (attached). I apologise that the code is a bit messy, but it is very short and so easy to pick apart. Basically it involves...

2 images of the screen (render targets)
1 black/white image as a mask, separating the 2 sides
A little jiggery pokery to make part of each image transparent.

Click anywhere to set a splitting point, and it will calculate a random angle.
The gameplay is up to you guys to add

Nice! Good job BatVink! Whenever I see or play a game, I'm always thinking of ways I'd replicate various features / effects.

That's cool - Maybe could do like an exploding screen when pass a level.

Like create lots of screen blocks (50x50) ad shake each and every one at different rotations, shakes and movement.

It will look like the screen is exploding and the transition into the next level scene.

Or maybe perhaps - using some kind of transition methods from one screen to another.

I know what I mean and when I can get time, I shall send some code to show what I mean

I'd love to recreate the code I made in DBPro for screen transitions, in AGK. I haven't come up with an efficient solution yet though.

The tutorial I wrote and competition that accompanied it is here - https://www.thegamecreators.com/pages/newsletters/newsletter_issue_33.html#12

Here's the demo I made for the competition...
