Ive been trying to connect from pc to android with join network via IP

I disable my android phones wifi and try to use the phones network IP to connect to my computers world ipv4 address, I portforward my pcs port with the router)

Does anyone have any sample code how to do android to PC via IP?
(Im thinking my code should work, my guess is that the android Ports are closed) (some sources mentioned port 1024 or port 440 but agk doesn't go below 1025)


Shed some light?

Anyone?

First, try to ping the pc via your networks public wan address.

There are a number of free apps that can do this.

If you get a response, your networking is good to go in general and the issue narrows down to a problem with your apps specific connection attempt.

If no response, there is likely still a more general issue in router/port/firewall configs
