I think TGC should merge ALL of the platform-specific AppGameKit boards into a single "Tier 2" board. Most of those boards only get a dozen or so posts a year and I've seen people post simple Tier 1 questions on some of them thinking that's where they should ask (i.e., one I just recently responded to in iOS would've been answered right away in AppGameKit Product Chat, but it went unanswered for two months since it was in an obscure board nobody really checks).
Then people could still classify their posts accordingly such as [IOS] or [ANDROID]. Blackkberry is not a platform anymore and only received a single (spam) post in the past year. Mac has had 7 threads in 2016. Etc...
The less boards and clutter the better, in my opinion. Similarly, I don't see the usefulness in Rick creating half a dozen different Slack chat channels when there are only 32 people in total that have partaken in that chat system, and only a message or few gets posted every day anywhere in that chat. I'm still not sure of the practical purpose of splitting the product chat into Newcomers Corner as well, since the main forum is still where most questions are asked and answered and it worked fine for years. Sometimes it seems TGC goes overboard with sub-forums.
