Hey Everyone,

I challenged myself to complete a "Game-in-a-day".

I got the artwork from GameDevMarket for a great price, and spent about 12 hours on the code, just a few minor tweaks to do before I release it onto the app-stores.

The objective is to see how long you can keep your pet zombie alive. HIs health will gradually go down, so will his enjoyment. You have to play mini games to replenish his enjoyment and earn money, you use the money to buy food to top up his health. All I want to do is get an online leaderboard into the game before I release it.

You may want to reassess your food costs to value.

Unless there is some kind of limited availability or cool down time, the most cost effective option is actually to just always buy the cheapest tomatoes restoring 60 hp for 300 vs 50 for 300 on brains or 50 for 300 on a tomato and a lettuce.

What was supposed to be a simple game done in a day, became a full-blown game that I'm really enjoying making.

The objective is simple - keep your Pet Zombie alive as long as possible. If your zombie gets bored, he'll die faster - so you want to keep him entertained! How do I keep him entertained you ask? Mini-Games, of course! You can play various mini-games such as a matching card game, or a hidden object search game, to raise your zombie's entertainment level and earn coin. Use your coin to buy food to keep your zombie alive! Sure, a healthy zombie prefers a brain, but they'll also eat Tomato's and Lettuce but they won't be happy about it. In fact, they'll groan and complain! (Lots of fun and humorous sound effects and voice work.) Completing mini-games raises your Zombies level! The level system doesn't really do a lot except unlock cosmetic features for your zombies graveyard.

Here are some new screenshots. Once I get a third mini-game completed, and get a leaderboard working for Highest Level Zombie, Highest Scores on the Mini-Games etc. I'll release it for everyone. This time I opted to go with a Free version, which is supported by Ads, and the option to buy it and get rid of Ads.

Hope you enjoy the progress report!
