The Difference between PhotoShop CS6 and PhotoShop CC is with the License. CS6 is a life long License and CC is by rent. If you don't pay, you can't use it anymore. Photoshop CS6 is more like AGK2.
If you can, get CS6 Extended, it can also handle 3D stuff. But don't let you foul with cheap prices. The website you "ag..." can't be serious.
But I can tell you, there is no other Software than Photoshop that can do what Photoshop can do. It is like Microsoft Office and other Offices. They can do most of the things, but with file converting, and layers, and plugins, the other software handles often somethings wrong and will cost you a lot of time.
I don't know, if you need Photoshop CC with monthly payment. If you are a student / teacher, you will get it for ~ 20,- something per month, but you have to rent it for 12 month, so you are at 120,-
If you want an advice ... get the Master Collection CS6. No compromise. No monthly payment.
PhotoShop CS6 Extend is the real PhotoShop, which is the last not CC (for rent) version
Lightroom is only for some color-correction
Elements can't use 3D Objects in the way the Extended Version can do and also some of the PlugIns are not working. I don't know if Elemnts can handle all in 64 Bit, CS6 is native 64 Bit (32 Bit version included, but can't use as much as RAM)
I tried GIMP, and I tried Paint.NET. For some graphics they a great, also PhotoLine and Serif PhotoPlus, PaintShop Pro X... but at the End, you have to use Photoshop if you are working with others. I was sad abut Corel buying Ulead and not supporting PhotoImpact anymore, but that's the way it is.
Also PhotoShop works best with all Wacom products. And if you ever have to switch to macOS, Photoshop is also there, if you want to.
Maybe you can search for PhotoShop CS2, maybe there is a *download* somewhere. Adobe shutted down the Activation-Server long time ago and so they had to make it work without Activation.
