AppGameKit Classic Chat / Change of minimum spec?

I've just tried to install AppGameKit Player 2 on my bottom end test device (a Samsung Galaxy Y, android 2.3), and it's telling me that 'my device isn't compatible with this version'.

Has something changed in the player? I'm 100% certain that the AGK2 player used to work on this device. What about apps created with AppGameKit? does this mean that we can no longer support devices running Android 2.3?

- Removed armeabi (ARMv5) binary for Android which was only used by very old devices, AppGameKit now requires ARMv7 or greater on Android. This reduces the APK size by about 4.5MB

Not sure which Android versions that relates to. But some discussions have some reference about Android 4.0: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/28926101/is-it-safe-to-support-only-armeabi-v7a-for-android-4-and-above

Hmm, you're possibly right. According to GSM Arena the device in question has an ARMv6 cpu

The Galaxy Y I have is a really old and low spec phone. I shall just have to invest in a new 2.3 android test device.
