If I export a an example for Android ( setting name (test), packagename (m.m) , leaving everything else blank, i get an *.apk

This I put in serveral directories of the handy harddisk but can not find it, when I start the handy.

Am I missing some obvious steps ?

What's a handy harddisk?
Signature removed by mod because it's larger than 600x120... please resize and try again.

If it is your typical Android device, then you need to be sure to select the correct drive. /storage/emulated/ is the built in flash drive - often confusingly named SD-Card - whereas /storage/<device ID> is attached media - often just as confusingly named USB even though on your typical phone or tablet this is a SD card.

Then just locate your folder. I tend to save my .apk files in the attached media download folder and install from there. An app like 'Total Commander' is very helpful when navigating on an Android device. You can use it even to search for files if totally lost

Drop box is so handy for test-deploys. You can compile to the drop-box on the PC, then install it from the drop box on the device.
