I have updated to the latest AppGameKit 2 and receive this error:

'The procedure entry point inet_ntop could not be located in the dynamic link library WS2_32.dll'

The simplest program when run displays this error, according to MSDN the function inet_ntop converts an IPv4 or IPv6
Internet network address into a string in Internet standard format.

Are there any work arounds for this or could AGK2 be updated to get it working on Windows XP?

Any chance adding a conditional statement to use inet_ntoa() for Windows XP users?

Linux is free. ubuntu 14, got my AGK2 on steam, works every time, auto update, no ubuntu installation problems, just download and code.
I'm still running 32bit.

XP is not supported by Microsoft.

Sure, I could do that, although, most of the apps I create do not use networking at the moment and I don't
see why AppGameKit 2 should stop working now for me on windows because one function that is part of winsock 2.

Sure XP is old and not supported by Microsoft for many years and I could export everything to HTML5
to see the results, but it's only a function to revert back to IPV4 for XP users instead of IPV6 so I see the
results as a standalone.

Any chance TGC could do this for peeps stuck in the past?
