All achievements in my project 'Space Haze' work fine.
If I start Google Play Games and select Space Haze, the achievements and leaderboard tab is missing.

See what I mean in this thread:
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/43298677/achievements-not-showing-in-google-play-games-app/43428315#43428315
( I posted in this thread, too, but that was about achievements not showing up/unlocking in Google Game Center. That issue was solved )

According to this thread, the OAuth2.0 client ID in the Google API console and the linked app in Game Services should be identical.
I just corrected this and uploaded a new .APK. The SHA1 fingerprint is also identical.
But still, no achievements tab is showing up.
The thread also mentions that a project needs a certain number of downloads before these tabs will appear. Can anyone confirm this?

Anyone else having that issue?
Or anyone who has managed to get these tabs to appear in Google Play Games?

Thanks,
PSY

I never knew this tab existed, and I am sure by tomorrow I have forgotted it does . My guess is most people are the same, so I would not worry too much.

Anyway I could not find your Space Haze on Google Play, is it published? I checked for my games and "my achievements" tab showed for the two published ones. The ones with downloads and a publicly available APK. For the third one that is not yet available publicly for download on Google Play it did not show up.

Generally I am very wary of touching the OAuth settings or any other API stuff. I messed up two projects trying to follow that kind of advice. Started getting really weird errors and messed of stuff on the Play Services for those. Ended up redoing the whole app + services just to be sure. Anyway, Google has a very nice UI for setting everything up compared to Apple. But Apple really makes the whole settings stuff focused on the App/Game which prevents this type of mixups. Wish Google would do the same. Sure, they have extensive cloud platforms and all but no need to force make it the users problem..

Yeah,

it is important to set up the OAuth2.0 client ID in the Google Play Developer Console, and NOT in the Google API Console. Setting it up in the API Console will result in 2 different OAuth2.0 client IDs, which will cause problems.

Yeah, Space Haze is published. Just checked it with a neutral account.

Here's the thread link: https://forum.thegamecreators.com/thread/219487
Here's the direct link to Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.psylabs.spacehaze&hl=en

I guess it really depends on the downloads. Found several sources saying so.
Could you please link your 3 games, so I can see the downloads?

Thanks,
PSY

Yeah. I did upload the APK this morning so I have no idea if anything changed though.

I will see if I manage to post it also on some thread.

Thanks alot, appreciated !!

My achievements are shown in the game.
They are even unlocked correctly, and 'seem' to be activated ( they pop in when being unlocked, and add XP ).
But there is no XP in Google Play Games, and these tabs are also missing.
Furthermore, no scores are shown.

I've added two screenshots of the Dev Console, so you can see there are no players who have unlocked anything, or scored at all.

Maybe these features are really enabled when enough users have downloaded the app?
I'm getting no errors in the Dev Console, everything seems to be working fine.

Banging my head

Update:

Just had a nice chat with a Google specialist.

Here's the essence:

The Game Services leaderboards and achievements are only awarded after a game has reached a certain activity threshold. At this time, your game has not yet reached this threshold.

So our games just need a certain number of downloads/players, and these tabs will show up. Also, achievements and leaderboard will work as intended.

Cheers,
PSY
