AppGameKit Classic Chat / transparency in a texture

how do i implement transparency in a 3D texture map? Basically i have a plane under an object and i want it's texture to be semi transparent like a shadow.
i tried exporting the .png with transparency but that doesn't seem to work

I believe blendman uses textures in this way using shaders

be careful with SetObjectTransparency. it plays with depth Read/Write and could do some strange things . all is explained in the documentation
