AppGameKit Classic Chat / Broadcast from Linux Mint?

I'm dual booting Windows Vista and Linux Mint on my computer both running AppGameKit 2017.05.15. I can broadcast from Windows Vista to my Android phone just fine but when I try from Linux Mint nothing happens on the phone. It's like nothing is received. It seems like AppGameKit is broadcasting though. No errors or anything.
Has anybody got broadcasting from Linux to work? Is there some settings I need to change?

Nevermind. I got it working. I just had to change some settings in the Linux firewall.
