Dark GDK / Best VS version for windows 10?

Hi all,
I have a new machine running Windows 10 and I have been trying to install the Visual Studio for the last 3 days or so, well maybe its just my bad luck but Express 2008 seems unable to install as it is always missing a component, same goes for 2015 but I finally tried "2015 for Windows 10" and it installs correctly but DarkGDK doesnt detect it when trying to install, then what version should I pick to run the Dark GDK in windows 10? I know some of you have run it in win10 so Im sure you will know the best answer for this. Thanks a lot in advance =)

Edit: Its finally solved, well its not working but at least the VS is installed

Hi ronin,

I installed VS 2008 in Windows 10 without problems.

I can't state if it is the best one or not, I think VS2008 is the easier version to have DGDK configured and running.

Just install VS2008 and DX Development kit August 2007, copy the DGDK libraries and includes and configure their paths at VS2008.

I use Windows 10, VS2008 + DarkGDK + DirectX9. All works fine.
