at least SetEditBoxText( index, "Что-нибудь") should displayed correct.
hmm, maybe try what happens with SetEditBoxFont

I've tried
SetEditBoxText( index, "Что-нибудь") works, but I need to input my own text in "live mode"
and
LoadFont(1,"Arial")
SetEditBoxFont(1, 1)
shows the same "ǹǺǻǼǽǾáƄŝǥǦƦň" when I input text inside the EditBox area.

And I forgot to say, it happens on Windows only. When I broadcast this code to the android device it works fine with default font!

agree with you.
me tested at windows 10, if me set keyboard layout to russisch the editbox not display the correct unicode chars.

may @Paul look for it
