Shadows and normal maps look fantastic!!!!!
I have a small problem (which i think i can fix) that you might want to have a look at.
In the attached image there are two planes (a model, not a primitive).
As you can see, the plane bathed in shadow does not cast a shadow (Bottomish left)

Only front faces cast a shadow, so since the light is shining through the back of the wall it won't cast a shadow. Adding a roof to the building should fix it in this case.

i am working with normals and they are awesome! Look at the difference between the orange and green building!
