It's probably been years since I've posted any models I've done. This isn't game related though. I'm currently modeling a computer case and figured I'd make some components to go in it as well. Then I got a bit carried away with the details and did a lot more than just slap a mobo image on a square. Everything is as close to scale as possible, researching the physical specs for each component. The only thing I didn't measure was the capacitors, I just eyeballed them. But the PCIe slot and RAM were measured within a 1/10th of a mm. The CPU bracket/housing was somewhat eyeballed too. Used the default renderer in studio max as mental ray wasn't working anymore for some reason.

It's a Gigabyte GA-Z270N-WIFI mini-itx board. I need to redo the PCIe slot though, I don't think I modeled after the correct one.

no i can't figure out how sketchup works. I'm using studio max.

Here's a small update. Added some of the rear IO ports, changed the the dimensions of the PCIe slot and added the metal cover over it that appears on my motherboard. And I corrected the cpu fan pins to the correct dimensional specs.
