Hi all,

After a lot of moaning from my family that I never finished anything (programming wise), here are some screens of my 99% (furthest I've ever got) finished game app.
Its called Clear the Pier and is a 3D puzzle physics game.

How to play:
When you touch the screen you produce an arc of energy that moves any metal boxes in the vicinity, the metal boxes are used to reach the objectives described at the start of every level.
There are 51 levels, comments welcome

Hi Quartz,

Nice to hear your family supported you with this

The game looks very impressive. Can we see a video of it?

Good luck with the last 1% (always the hardest percent of any development!)

Thanks for the comments, I will try and post video tonight.
Yes all the graphics are by myself it was originally a 2d game, then 3d, then 2d, then back to 3d as I just couldn't get it to feel right.
Below are the screens of 2d vrs 3d.

Hopefully this link works as 1st video I've made and posted.
Video shows level one being completed, previews of some of the levels and some gameplay.
Target platform is Android, not sure after that.

Looks really great! Monetise it somehow and get it published! I think it'll do well.

Just finishing off the mini game where 55 boxes drop on to the pier one at at time and ends when either one falls off or goes off the top of the screen.
Its Feasible but I haven't managed it.

Hi,
Since last post I've added another 10 levels and a new background.
I've made a Windows demo if anyone would like to give it a try.
Although written for mobile touch it works fine with a mouse (maybe slightly harder).
The demo is made up of 6 levels and is about 25meg, I've included external link as not sure if to big to attach.
My thanks to nzO's great WadPacker program.
Any comment welcome.

3D is a 100% improvement, but your 2D looks very nice with the depth you added.

I'll try this out tomorrow, and get back with some feedback.

EDIT

Crashed on start for me...couldn't try it, sorry.

Yesterday, the Hi Shadow Box in the options menu turned white after having selected it. Couldn't replicate that issue today, though

The boxes you click in any menu could give a little feedback when being clicked, like a wobble or something

Thanks for the feedback PSY.
Found the problem, when I cut the unused textures to make the demo smaller I cut the low res one for that box by mistake. It's missing for the Low and Medium modes.
Again thanks for spotting it.

The screen turned black, with a somewhat light gray border, then a crash.

It was like it was trying to load the assets but failed.

I was on a computer at the library, so perhaps it was something to do with their system.

I'll be heading back there tomorrow, and I will try it at a different terminal to figure out if it was that particular desktop computer, or their anti-virus software blocking it.
