Mrigaya's Gameplay Overhaul Scripts Pack


Description -

Pack contains a number of scripts that enhances the gameplay in FPSC. The ones that work perfectly have been categorized seperately from ones that are experimental or don't work as intended.

You will need Black Ice Mod installed for them to work properly.

How to make them work -

Attach the scripts in scriptbank>Mrigaya>gameplay scripts to any dynamic entity or triggerzone that is within 600 units (6 segments) of the player.

Included Scripts -

1. Player head bobbing script -

This stimulates player headbobbing. It has been timed to player speed at 100. The script doesn't work as perfectly as intended as the three axes of the 3D co-ordinate system are fixed in the engine.

2. Player hitback script -

This script stimulates player hitback when the player is hurt. This also doesn't work as perfectly as intended as the engine doesn't have any commands to check how the player is damaged. If someone includes this in any mod in the future the capability of this script can be expanded.

3. Player jump script -

It makes the player jump cooler.

4. Some basic scripts that feed into the purpose of the above scripts. Don't forget to attach them too, otherwise some features may not work.

5. Some residual stuff or stuff that will be worked in the future. You can play with them if you want. If you get them working, don't forget to post here so that I don't have to work on them myself This will really decrease some of my work load as I also have college.

Future features -

1. A basic health inventory system.
2. An air system for sprinting and diving under water.
3. An expanded AI system without DarkAI for better gameplay.
4. An improved player body script if possible.

Update -

You will need to convert the hud_icon.dds of the guns to 64x128 (rotate the image and reduce image size by half) for the weapon icons to show properly. I will be including them in the next update.

My games never have bugs. They just develop random features..
