AppGameKit Classic Chat / loading remote image

Is there a way in AppGameKit to load a remote (http or https) image into a sprite? My apps have thousands of images that I load at run-time from my server. I don't see how to replicate this in AppGameKit. I also load remote JSON files, but there doesn't seem to be any handling of JSON in the BASIC version of AGK.

Maybe GetHTTPFile()
They just added JSON support in the latest version

Oops, I should have tried that, obviously. I assumed there would be a directory problem given that LoadImage always goes to 'Media', but it works fine. Thanks.
