Yeah, Call Of Duty is basically that Omaha beech landing mission, but from start to finish. That's the only real complaint I have. I don't mind that it's short, because I guarentee it took 10 times the effort to make each level in COD compared to a level of MOH. Better to be short and sweet than long with a few sweet bits.
Exeat, not sure which level you're talking about. If you're talking about the level with the 4 story building (Soviet campaign) you have to clear before defending and shooting the tanks with the anti-tank rifles - yeah, that was a nightmare. That really did fry my brain, especially seeing as it took me about 10 lives to find the correct anti-tank rifle.
Even with a game like COD, I found it got a little repetative towards the end. I got desensitised to the intensity of combat (hehehe) and found later on even though the levels were still monsterous, I wasn't too involved. But can't deny it's one of the best single player experiences to date though. The truck chases were cool. I particularly liked the level when you have 10 minutes to rescue the soldier from the enemy base. I'm normally quite cautious in those games. I move through slowly and don't take a lot of damage. In that one you have to charge in and waste people on the run.
Insiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiide!
