@Markus: It's very strange that it's not happening over there. Here's the complete code:
// set window properties
SetWindowTitle( "Title" )
SetWindowSize( 1024, 768, 0 )
SetWindowAllowResize( 1 ) // allow the user to resize the window
// set display properties
SetVirtualResolution( 1024, 768 ) // doesn't have to match the window
SetOrientationAllowed( 0, 0, 1, 1 ) // allow both portrait and landscape on mobile devices
SetSyncRate( 30, 0 ) // 30fps instead of 60 to save battery
SetScissor( 0,0,0,0 ) // use the maximum available screen space, no black borders
UseNewDefaultFonts( 1 ) // since version 2.0.22 we can use nicer default fonts
setprintsize(20) // 15
Eb1 = createeditbox()
seteditboxposition(Eb1,100,200)
seteditboxsize(Eb1,600,40)
seteditboxtextsize(Eb1,45)
seteditboxtext(Eb1,"Press button, and click near beginning of EditBox.")
AddVirtualButton(1,100,100,100)
do
if GetVirtualButtonPressed(1)
SetEditBoxText(Eb1,"some text")
endif
sync()
loop
If you take a look at the image attached, you can see how the position of the text has changed after I clicked between the letters s and o. Clicking the button again makes it jump back to where it was. Strange!
Thanks,
James
