When I play a video and then delete it, a white rectangle remains on the screen. It looks like the sprite being used for the video display is not being deleted. Is anyone else experiencing this?
This did not happen in earlier versions, but I do not know in which version it manifested.

I am using .wmv on a Windows 10 machine.

I am using a video because I need the audio to be in sync with the animation.

Should I be able to use a DirectX SDK instead?

Since my last post, and no responses, I decided to try a function I recently noticed... PlayVideoToImage(). Maybe this would help?
Well... no. When I use this function I can hear the video but cannot see it.

Am I not using it properly? I have found no examples of use.

I would like to see someone's solution to this issue, whether it is a bug or not.

Until then, I have a work-a-round. I am setting the dimensions of the video to

Just before I delete the video.
Since the video screen does not go away after deleting the video, I can at least have it small enough not to see.
