Had the appgamekit now for ten days and think it's awesome. I have a small problem not to do with AppGameKit but Microsoft paint . The problem is how do I make the background of my sprites transparent . Thanks in advance for any help.

First, I would suggest downloading gimp. Gimp is MUCH more complex and flexible for image editing but there is a massive learning curve and there a bunch of tutorials. Second, you need to save your image as a .png file type. Also, apparently you can do this with Microsoft Paint 3D.

If you want something similar to MS Paint I suggest Paint.net. Works great. Just select the background using lasso or magic wand tool, erase it, save as PNG and off you go.

There is another route. You can paint your background with black (R=0,G=0,B=0), then you set image transparency to SetImageTransparentColor(image_ID,0,0,0), now you should be able to make the black parts of the sprite transparent. If you need black, you can use R=1,G=1,B=1.
