Hello.

I want make a video to show my project. What's the best choice free software to capture ?

(Windows 10, Screen 1920x1080, 8GoRam, project : 1600x900 pixels, 60 fps)

I've tried some softwares, but i've not good results, i've also tested to reduce the in-project fps to 30, or reduce the video resolution...

How do you capture ?

Thanks.

If you have an nvidia card you can get their capture software. I’ve had a play with it and it gave good results.
Using Tier 1 AppGameKit V2
Started coding with AMOS (Thanks Francois Lionet)

Free capture options that wont impact FPS
a. Shadow play, you'll need a GeForce GTX 650 video card or newer
b. AMD relive, you'll need a GCN generation AMD video card or newer
c. Windows 10, see https://gizmodo.com/windows-10-is-hiding-a-great-video-capture-tool-1719196149
d. OBS https://obsproject.com/, using Quick sync options if support by your CPU

Other paid options
d. Capture software that supports Intel Quicksync (such as $39 Bandicam), you'll need a Sandy bridge Intel CPU (2011) or newer
e. External capture card

OBS has quickly become the standard for capturing video and streaming and is entirely free. Perfect quality and good compression, 60 FPS etc. Can capture full displays, specific windows, add overlays and additional video sources etc.

I use OBS studio to capture and then Davinci Resolve for editing. Also, I use Audacity for the occasional sound related thing.
