Just delete the one in the other forum. Does anyone know where i can find some good Special effects for games. I mostly need explosions.

Am I an Idiot...or is everyone else just really smart?

three ways:

1 - not sure about copyright but u could use T3DGM
2 - try a google search in the images section
3 - make your own (i use vanseam)

depends, i'm just using a textured sphere with a textured plain expanding realy rapidly, it gives the desired effect for me.(not to mention making it easy on myself)

Special effects? I posted some code for a lens flare to the code snippets forum and into the codebase.

I have smoke and fire effects in the codebase, just search "smoke" or "fire".
