Thanks

Been busy today, but starting to get a headache with it and need to take a break

Here is a update

The small map and action images are back in place.

- Can select an Action and click a follower to change to that action

Actions sorted

- Build, Dig, Explode, Mine, Stopper

Still to do

- Climb, ExpodeAll (to reset level)

Zipped it up, so you have all the Action Images again.

Catch up tomorow to hopefully got the Climber sorted and Explode All to reset level

and to make some more levels with GIMP LOL!!

I think we pretty much sorted with the climb - the climb times out after 10 seconds, so click when is near something verticle

and it checks top of the sprite now so if hits a ceiling, will fall down cancelling a climb mode

Just a bit of adjustments to make, but its getting there

As a twist - each followers action as a time for that action to perform.

Say a miner has 5 seconds to do mining

Digger has 10 seconds to do that

Climer has 10 seoconds to do that

Maybe set them all the same depending on what level we on

Level 1. 10 seconds each action
Level 2 - 9. seconds each action
Level 3 - 8. seconds each action
Level 4 - 7. seconds each action
Level 5 - 6. seconds each action
level 6+ - 5 seconds each action

Use the actions wisely as levels go up - cause they will run out

Only concern with time limiting things like mining and digging is does it ultimately change the gameplay or will you just have to increase the number of uses provided in order to get through required terrain with no big impact on player decisions?

I know the feeling! Even the crickets gave up on my framework thread i think a lot of busy projects going on hard to follow up on each of them

Going to try and get this template finished tonight and tomorrow and then move onto Power Drift

There is only level exploding lemmings left / Pause and a quick Title screen and Intervening scenes to put back in from an older version to put into this version

Thanks

Just a few collision work to do whilst doing actions which i missed.

Like if build left or right and hits a wall, i expect it to convert back to a walker and go in opposite direction - So currently going through all the actions making sure they all do same thing

Should be good for tomorrow fingers crossed - day or 2 late for a personal deadline..

but that is me in general. I tend to Take things easy when start a project and often wait until the last week before the deadline is up and then work frantically to get things finishe lol

I will try and be more on the ball for the next one for Feb

Im not going to sit down and draw 1000 levels, so we can do this procedurally again

So, I created two functions - one is the drawing of the land and one is to generate PNG - but this will change the alpha to 0 if it meets the AlphaMask color

Can let this repeat 1000 times if want to lol

Coffee time.
